See our website at www.nascoindust.com The Nasco Spring Balancer Division was started over twenty years ago with the goal of providing a device to suspend tools having improved physical and operating characteristics in excess of what was presently available at that time at a competitive price. To that end we created and manufactured the TB-series of Retracting Tool Balancers with the following improvements:

- Minimum physical size to increase working area

- No tools required to increase cable tension

- A fool-proof, safe and incremental cable tension release mechanism

- Durable metal housing

- A selection of appropriate cable materials for different applications

The popularity of our retractors is evident from their usage throughout industries as tool hangers, bar code scanner retractors, hot melt hose supports and radial arm saw retractors just to name a few.

In more recent times, Nasco recognized the growing popularity of spring balancing devices commonly referred to as zero gravity, gravity defying, weight defying and constant tension balancers. Started in Europe at very high price levels they eventually progressed initially to Mexico and Japan and then to Korea, India, China andTaiwan where sources for these devices can be found at various quality characteristics and prices. Realizing that if similar devices were to be built in the U.S., the selling prices could not compete with even the best of these foreign made balancers. Therefore, Nasco procured a large number of sample balancers from many manufacturers located in all sourcing countries and tested each for quality, durability, availability, operating requirements, and of course price. Determined to enter this market in the U.S., Nasco selected what they considered the best balancers available from companies offering a reasonable business relationship resulting in a competitive product line that we refer to as the TBF-Series Load Positioning Balancers. The result is 10 models rated from 1kg to 100kg (2.2 lbs to 220 lbs) and, for the past 15 years, an inventory position allowing most orders to be filled from stock.
